Flow Manufacturing: The production of high-volume standards product. If the units discrete such as cars and appliances it will called repetitive manufacturing. if the goods are made in a continuous flow such as gasoline, it will called as continuous manufacturing. Intermittent Manufacturing: Characterized by many variations in product design, process requirements and order quantities. Machinery and workers must be flexible enough to do the variety if work. The capacity required depends on particular mix of products being built and difficult to predict. Project Manufacturing: Usually involve the creation of one or a small number of units.
